Where are you based?

Bumps is based at Andark Lake in Swanwick, very close to Junction 8 of the M27.
Can I bring someone with me?

Of course! Your booking includes a +1 of your choice. Most people bring their significant other but you can bring a friend, a parent or come by yourself. Everyone is welcome regardless of their personal preferences or circumstances.
Is there Parking?

Yes, there is a car park at the lake. As you turn in, you will pass the Andark building on your right. Follow the track, passing a car park on your right; you will see houses to your left. Take care as you drive up the track, there are one or two potholes! Drive through the gate at the top and you will arrive in the car park.
How many people are on each course?

A maximum of sixteen. Eight bumps and eight +1s.

What happens at each session?

Each session starts at 7pm but you are more than welcome to arrive anytime from 6.45pm to get settled in. We will have a break around half way through for stretch and a catch up and aim to finish around 9pm.

When is the best time to start?

Whenever feels the right time for you but somewhere between 28-32 weeks works well. You can comfortably complete the course with time to have a think about your options before you become due.

Do I need to bring anything?

Not really! I've got you covered for drinks and snacks. Some choose to bring a notebook for jotting bits down.
How does Baytree differ from NCT?
-
NCT classes are often led by childbirth educators who have undertaken a theory course to teach. This means that they do not have any clinical experience or professional qualifications.
Are the classes suitable if I've had a baby before?
-
I think so! Refresh your knowledge and brush up on your baby care. Maybe learn some new skills like Biomechanics or Hypnobirthing!
What is your cancellation policy?

If you find yourself with a change of plans, I am always happy to move you to another course with availability if that works for you. Otherwise the following apply:
